Another successful brown field project. This project included the demolition of obsolete structural steel, process equipment and electrical systems and installation of new in an operating plant. With 40% scope change our team adopted and managed the scope while maintaining the schedule milestones. Quality work allowed for successful commissioning and start up. Large scale work in brown field environments with in excess of 500 employees is our speciality.
Project Challenges
We have always excelled in brown field environments. Being successful in these environments requires a strong relationship with the Owner’s operations teams. We are fortunate to have many senior staff with operational maintenance backgrounds. Cooperation between operations and construction crews is critical to the project success. Safety in brown field construction areas has to be detailed and inclusive. Our commitment to cooperation efforts are adaptive to the priorities of production.
